It is the best place for children, old people and also for women who love evening walks. For having a park in a town we need to write a “Formal Letter to President of Municipal Committee requesting for the park”. It is a letter to the President of the Municipal Committee of your town requesting him to provide a park for children.
Formal Letter to President of Municipal Committee requesting for park
13, Jawahar Nagar,
May 5, 2021.
I want to draw your kind attention to the necessity of having children park in our town. Our city has increased to a size where public parks for children have almost become a necessity. Public parks are, truly speaking, the “lungs” of the city because they provide fresh air to the children who live in a pent-up atmosphere and congested area. Every big city has some open space reserved exclusively for the children so that they may amuse themselves undisturbed. Our city is growing fast and the green fields and open spaces have been invaded by buildings and factories.
If we are to maintain the health of the younger generation, we must provide them with a park to play in. The prices of the land are going up and if we wait for a few years more, the price of the land will be prohibitive and we shall not be able to layout a park in Jawahar Nagar.
Jawahar Nagar is a big ward. It consists of about ten thousand souls one thousand of whom are children. The children roam about in the dirty streets because there is no park where they can jump and play, It has adversely affected their health and retarded their growth. Hence, a park is a must in our locality.
It is high time that Municipal authorities felt it their responsibility and do them in the matter.
One who is interested.
