Before the final exams of the board, everyone needs to fill his admission form to appear in the examination. But if you do some mistakes in filling the admission form then these mistakes may appear in the marks card of your class. So, it’s very important to fill the admission form correctly. But sometimes due to the carelessness of Board authorities, we have to face this problem also.
So, to correct your name in the certificates you need to write a “Letter to the secretary of board requesting him to correct your name”.
Formal Letter to Secretary of board requesting him to correct your name
11, U.N.0. Road,
April 12, 20 …….
Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education,
With due respect I wish to bring the following facts to your kind notice for prompt remedial action :
I, Ram Kumar Gandotra, son of Shri Nand Lal Gandotra resident of II, U.N.O. Road, Jammu Tawi qualified for my Board Matriculation Examination in March 2016 conducted by the J and K Board. I appeared under roll number 334422 and filled my name correctly in the admission form. I regret to bring to your kind notice that my name has been entered as Ramesh Kumar in place of Ram Kumar on the certificate issued to me. This has involved me in unnecessary and avoidable correspondence with the Board authorities. Your office Clerks insist upon writing my name as Ramesh Kumar Gandotra. For this lapse of the Board office, I have failed to get my Matriculation certificate in my correct name.
I am enclosing an affidavit to the effect that my correct name is Ram Kumar Gandotra and not Ramesh Kumar Gandotra.
You are requested to personally look into the matter and get the error corrected. You are also requested to arrange to issue a fresh certificate with my correct name.
Ram Kumar Gandotra
This is all about “A letter to the Secretary of the Board giving your correct name and requesting him to make necessary changes in the Board records”.
