It is designed to support low income groups of 88 counties of North Carolina with their rental assistance program. They will cover electricity bills up to $1020, heating or natural gas costs up to $270, water for $210, and wastewater up to $240.

To complete the application process, these are a few requirements you need to suffice.

  1. Your landlord must sign a filled lease summary form.
  2. A written statement must be attested from your landlord specifying your name, rental or lease details, the number of months it’s due, and the end date of the lease.
  3. Enter your landlord’s name, email address, and other contact details of your landlord.
  4. Utility bill details like the electricity bill, wastewater, sewer, and natural gas or heating oil bills.
  5. Add the first name, last name, and email address you used to apply for the HOPE program any time earlier than the one you are applying to now.

To be eligible for the HOPE program for homeless people, here are a few points to abide for;

  1. You must be 18 years and above to apply for HOPE.
  2. Being a resident of North Carolina state is a must.
